Terms of Use

Last updated

By using OZtoGram you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short, because the site is a free reference tool and there is not much to agree to.

Using the site

OZtoGram is free to use, for personal and commercial purposes alike. You may use the numbers it produces in your own work. You may not scrape it hard enough to slow it down for others, try to break it, or pass it off as your own service.

No warranty

The site is provided as-is and as-available. We work hard to be accurate, and the methodology page shows how. But we make no warranty that it is error-free, always up, or fit for any particular purpose. Please read the disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Not advice

Nothing here is financial, investment, legal, medical, or professional advice. Metal-content figures are arithmetic at a stated price. They are not valuations, offers, or quotes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ethan Brooks is not liable for any loss or damage (including lost profit, lost data, or consequential loss) arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site.

Content and intellectual property

The written content, design, and code of this site belong to Ethan Brooks. The conversion factors are facts and belong to nobody. Ingredient data comes from public sources, credited on the methodology page.

Links

We link to standards bodies and data sources so you can verify our figures. We are not responsible for the content of sites we link to.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. A clause like this can only name one legal system, because legal systems differ and contradict each other. Naming several would mean nothing.

Your rights where you live

Naming one governing law does not remove the protections you already have at home. If you are a consumer in any of the countries below, your own statutory rights sit above these terms:

We are not trying to contract out of any of that, and we could not if we wanted to. If anything on this page conflicts with a mandatory right you hold where you live, that right wins and the conflicting sentence here does not apply.
